Afaa Weaver, Sherman Ensemble, ALL-IN

Poet Afaa Weaver will read from his book A Hard Summation and his poem "To Malcolm X On His Second Coming" from The Norton Anthology Of Poetry & Protest. Weaver has been described as "the African American successor to Walt Whitman" by Ed Ochester, the editor of the Pitt Poetry Series.

The Sherman Chamber Ensemble will perform works by Villa-Lobos and DeBussy.
