James Barron Art is pleased to announce the opening of "On the Nature of Things," a group show that explores the relationship between the artist and the natural world. The exhibition includes works by Anthony Caro, Beverly Pepper, Cameron Martin, Dawn Clements, Georgia Bettoja, Jeannette Montgomery Barron, Joan Mitchell, Larry Poons, Lynn Davis, Marisol, Margherita Marchioni, Sally Mann, Shirana Shahbazi and Tristano di Robilant. Each of these artists explores various environments and materials in their work, which causes the viewer to examine their own understanding of the complex roles that nature, materials, and our greater world play in art.

This dance explores the power of iconic bodies to tell a story about the birth of desire and its intertwined connection to shame and revenge.
