In celebration of the publication of two books on Sol LeWitt's R-series, James Barron Art is pleased to present an exhibition of rare works dating from 1971-75. LeWitt's R-Series drawings, made between 1967-79, embrace his conceptual process by folding, cutting, and tearing paper. James Barron Art previously exhibited works from the R-series in our first gallery show in Kent, CT, as well a curated presentation at the Armory Show in 2014. We have placed numerous works from this series with collectors around the world, and it represents an important part of the gallery's history.
